The Lions are on permanent display on Level 2 of Club Wembley. The works were completed in her Liverpool studio and installed within Wembley Stadium late summer 2014. One Lion sculpture is made totally from cardboard and the other Lion mainly plastics including Carlsberg bottles to old plastic seating from the terraces.

But early in 1957, following the sudden death of Sir Arthur Elvin, Wembley Stadium’s Chairman and Managing Director, and a great supporter of the sport, the Lions withdrew from British speedway. But the growth of football meant that the stadium was not available for a full league season in 1972, and the Lions withdrew from the league, never to return.
