Formed in 1881, we are one of the oldest running clubs in the UK, with a rich heritage and history of running in the Richmond, Surrey area. From our origins in Putney in 1881, we have been privileged to run in and around the Richmond area, including in Richmond Park and other neighbouring green spaces, since the mid-1930s.

Thames Hare & Hounds, meanwhile, was formed in in 1868 in London and is the oldest adult cross-country running club in the world.
