The records show that 51 NHL players were born in the United Kingdom and had significant degrees of success in the league. Of these 51 players, three were born in Wales with five coming from Northern Ireland, 21 from Scotland, and 22 from England. There’s no doubt that Great Britain isn’t anywhere near a hockey power, but this list proves that UK-born players have had their fair share of success in the NHL over the years.

Theo Fleury seemed to walk it though we did see Glenn Anderson in Devils Jersey who could have arguably been as impressive if stayed. The best player would be Theo Fleury.
Theo Fleury by a country mile, there have been a few very good players to grace our shores, but Fleury most certainly has done it all. Over 1000 NHL points to his name.
