The BBC, however, have gone down a different route. Their three main presenters are all female – Clare Balding, Hazel Irvine and Gabby Logan, all very capable, experienced and enthusiastic about the events that lie before them. Furthermore, they also have Isa Guha and Jeanette Kwakye working in partnership with JJ Chalmers and Mark Chapman. Don’t be surprised if Guha and Kwakye have quite a part to play in the future as long as the Beeb can hang on to the sports rights they have at the moment.
