The Nottingham Vipers cater for players of all ages and abilities from new starters through to elite level players. During the team’s long and renowned history, it has provided an environment for women and girls to play competitive ice hockey at a national level. There is no upper age where you are not welcome! We can assure you of new friends, fun and opportunity to develop your skills and skating.

Unfortunately, the high costs of the sport can be a limiting factor for our club and can deter new players. Support from our alumni would lessen the financial burden on our players and would increase participation in this fantastic sport. £350 would allow the club to run an ice hockey taster session for Cambridge students. £5000 would cover the cost of a second development team, giving beginner players the opportunity to learn and develop their skills before joining our Huskies team.

We are a mixed-gender club and welcome all abilities and experience, catering to students and staff members at any Leeds based academic institution, from University of Leeds, Leeds Beckett and more. We pride ourselves in being an inclusive club where everyone can get involved, whether it's your first time trying on hockey skates or if you've been skating for years. Our club is made up of 2 competitive teams and a social team, making us one of the largest ice hockey clubs in the UK.
